Minutes before going live, I noticed how calm I was…I mean really freaking calm!  It was almost as if it wasn’t happening in real life and was still just a figment of my imagination.  I was amazed by how the 4 minute segment felt more like 4 seconds.  But that’s normally what happens when you get really caught up in your moment.  (more…)

Doug Pray’s documentary “Surfwise” is the tale of two parents who raised their nine children in a 24-foot camper – an experience their daughter would later describe as “like weird monkeys in a small monkey cage.”

Dorian “Doc” Paskowitz and his wife, Juliette, both avid surfers and radical thinkers, lived as nomads for decades with their eight sons and one daughter. In a rattletrap camper, they crossed the U.S., eschewing schools and living off the grid. “I just wanted my kids around me, surfing with me, education be damned,” says Paskowitz.

Now this is one of those type of movies that really requires you to open you mind. Although the concepts are very complex, the presentation is done in a very simplistic method.

Some of my not so smart friends think that I’m a weird-o because I get a slight erection when I watch stuff like this!!!

Yep, this is actually one of the many ways that I like to have fun…playing with a wooden puzzle from Thailand just because the box said “Test Your Genius”.

This art exhibition at the Freud Museum in London examines cultural fear and paranoia in the Western world.

The artist in me found this video just freaking inspirational!!! I couldn’t help but love how this creative expression invokes the masses to think…and better yet, to reveal their thoughts! All types of concepts came to me while watching!

The idea of Pedaled Phone Calls was created for those who live in parts of the world where cell phones are still a luxury. Here in America, these three wheeled bikes are usually used to sell ice-cream, pop-corn, or hot dogs. But in Nicaragua, the same kind of vehicle brings a pedal powered mobile to the people in need of making a call. Ten minutes of pedaling produces an hour of battery life.
 

This video proves my previous point perfectly…THE MEDIA IS NOT BASED ON REALITY!  

Now I do give props to the creators of the video.  I really dig how they made a clearly “don’t try this at home” video look so amateurish.

Now for all the “Little Johnnys” who actually think that by putting on a pair of sneakers by Kobe Bryant will some how allow them to leap over a car speeding towards them…uhmm…I’m sure the entire medical profession will be leaping with joy by your decision!

This was one of my first clients when I started my first business, ‘S.T. grafics’ from my living room in Chicago.  He’s always been a funny dude, especially when he goes off the cuff during his routine.  He told me that he once used one of my joke…and of course for this blog’s purposes, my joke brought down the house.  In this clip, watch how he puts the interracial couples on blast…not like there’s anything wrong with that, but I’m just saying!

I participated in a couple of the editing sessions for this one, so I guess it’s no surprise that I really like how it turned out.  Once again, Kanye and Hype tapped into their genius creating another instant classic video that will soon be the new standard!
