the power of images

This art work on the facade of the Tate Modern in London really caught me off guard. I must admit that my first thought was WTF! Fortunately I gave it a second look. I found myself lost in thinking… uhmm, and why did I have that first thought in the first place?

I had that SAME thought too. It’s his EYES…. you see the look in his eyes and assume that he’s a threat.

I also had the initial reaction of WTF! I know the reason that I had that initial thought was because of what I perceived as a threatening look on his face and also he way he is holding that camera. We

Me too with the WTF low bent eye brows. It took me a second to realize he wasnt holding a gun, but his exspression would sure have you think different.
