That is a beautiful piece of work! Like you I felt compelled to do some research
The artist is Tsang Cheung-Shing. The piece is affectionally known as “Liquid Kiss” and is on display at Hong Kong Internatinal Airport. I believe its proper name is, Yuanyang II.
