who’s #1
March 16th, 2009
I’m often in debates about who’s number one. Sad to say, they’re normally in very superficial topics such as sports, music or movies. So I would like to up the ante with the following questions…
1. What person do you think has contributed the most to the betterment of society throughout history?
2. What person do you think has contributed the most to the betterment of your life?
3. What person do you think has benefited the most from your life?
NOTE: Be sure to give the reason why.

1) Haile Selassie the first — the Emperor of Ethiopia has contributed the most to the betterment of society throughout all history. Simple because he has shown us the truth: “man is man and The Almighty is The Almighty”. Yes, there is a difference. His promotion of education as the first of all in this life is profound. and his manta: “obedience is better than sacrifice” … Every time.
2) The persons who have single-handed contributed the most to the betterment of my life would be my father and mother. Without them there would be no me. Thank you!
3) The person I think who has benefited the most from my life is the one who have witnessed the light that shines so bright in me. I’ve come to notice that everyone has eyes, but not everyone has sight.

1. I think the person who has contributed the most for the betterment of society has to be….. Im going to be honest i cannot think of anybody right now but I do have another answer which may or may not apply. The public person who has had the most impact in my life is Kanye West. I do not say this as a person who is awed by fame I say this as a person who appreciates the music and creative process behind his music. I feel as if i live through those songs… Those songs embody my life.. So yea thats my answer
2. There are a couple of people who have had a huge role in the betterment of my life. My best friend Sharon, she taught me to always strive for more, never be close minded about other cultures, and to always keep the ones you love near and dear to you. The other person would be my cousin Dwayne, this man gave me guidance when needed the most. He taught me alot and now every move I make, I do it to make him proud of the man I have become.. Sorry the answer was kind of long but it was a good question.
3. The person who has benefited the most from my betterment is and always will be my little sister Ashley. My sister means the world to me, I feel as if she looks up to me as a template for life. If i decide to become a better person so will she. So for this reason I tell my self….I will not lose
