s.m.art (some more art)

What I like the most about the world of art is that it’s all subjective. I’m really fascinated on how two people can look at the same thing and see something totally different.
I did this piece with the intent to have the viewer tell me what they see…so tell me, what do you see?

i see the sun setting in a deserted place. Not to deep. For some reason i can’t stop focusing on the bright light and the contrasting darkness in spite of the light. Like the light is there but it’s not radiating. it’s not fulfilling it natural purpose, to over come darkness. I’ve always been taught, and have taught that light and darkness can not dwell in the same place at the same time, one must submit to the other. I guess, to me, it’s kind of spiritual. Is the light overcoming the darkness or is the darkness overcoming the light. what direction is the progression in? I guess i depends on the person and where they are. Let me stop because the more i look at this pic the deeper i go into my thoughts. No one will probably ever read this anyway, but i do like where this took me.
