an artful way to make a stand

Environmental issues in China are largely overlooked at the expense of making money…uhmm, no surprise there!  These thought proking pieces located in Beijing’s Central Business District was a way of taking the subject to the heart of the matter.  Passers by could literally stand between a man with a gun and the animal in a symbolic gesture of defiance.

As an added touch , bullet holes were placed around the animals as if there were on a firing range.
