introducing a new way of being

A couple of weeks ago during the We Think Radio show, I stated that I’ve never had an argument with anyone who was smarter than me.  What seemed to be something just said in passing has actually made a profound impact in my way of being…for I have not argued with anyone since!

I know now for sure that there is no reason to argue with anyone based on this new way of thinking.  Allow me to further explain…

If I have determined that you are smarter than me, it would be extremely dumb ass on my part to argue with you, because by doing so, I have greatly decreased the chance to learn something.  Likewise, if I’ve determined you not to be as smart as me, I’m even more of a dumb ass to partake in an argument, because it usually ends in wasted energy.

Please note my fellow thinkers that this doesn’t mean not to partake in a debate or a healthy exchange of ideas.  That would be quite counter productive in your journey of becoming better.  Continue debating as well as the exchanging of ideas…just do it without involving anger, because as soon as anger comes into play, the argument is sure to follow.

Just something to consider for all those who don’t like being a dumb ass!!!
