when thoughts become reality!!!
June 20th, 2008
This message takes me back to when I first started writing my first book over four years ago. I remember looking out my window in deep thought on what to do with the rest of my life. I came to the conclusion that I was going to be in front of people utilizing my innate ablility to get people to think.
Many people told me that I was setting myself up for failure because the masses don’t want to think…they just want to be told what to do. Obviously I’m not in agreement. I sincerely think the masses are MORE conditioned not to think, so my new mission in life became to spark all the dormant thinkers of the world. I made that decision with the deep belief that I couldn’t be the only one who had grown tired of the “sugar water” mind sets that has become so status quo.
It’s the moments like these which make all the sacrifices worth it to me!!!
And before I end up getting all emotional, I’m going to end by saying to all…Thank You And You’re Welcome!

I found this site through the “Thank you and your welcome” book that you and Kanye put together because I figured that the man behind it must have other things worth while to talk about. Since then I’ve become a huge fan, and added your site to my everyday online routine. I received a copy of your book, and I appreciate the extra effort you put into it by personally signing it(and spelling my name right, no one does. lol) I just want to say thank you because like the comment above said, you make me actually want to think about things rather then settle for what’s spoon fed. People need people like you because many have forgotten what the “thinking” concept is. So again, thank you and keep up the good work.
Peace.

There is nothing I can add – that hasn’t already been said by the comment above so… I’ll just say… Dido!. And It was KanYe’s “Thank You & You’re Welcome” book that lead me here as well. I must admit I had to google the author…. but who cares! I’m thankful that I did. In short… Thank You J. saKiya Sandifer… Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. : )

It’s easy sometimes to forget to say simple things like “thank you,” especially within the media world. Thanks for reminding us to practice gratitude Rebecca. And after looking at the site for a while, I feel the need to say thank you as well. I feel enlightened

J. Sakiya,
I come to your site everyday as I do Kanye’s Blog. “JDP” took the words out of my mouth. I too have been wanting to thank you and Kanye for giving me the pleasant surprise of having your Autographs on the cover. I was not expecting that at all, THANK YOU… I enjoyed the book greatly. Secondly, keep up the good work. I feel refreshed reading through your site because it opens my mind to a whole new world.
