This image released by Russian advertising agency Voskhod shows a smiling, cartoonish black man flashing a V-for-Victory sign in front of the US Capitol building, along with the Russian slogan: “Everyone’s talking about it: dark inside white!”

This is a bogus advertisement. Not because I feel a certain way about the reference to our U.S. president, but simply because this advertisement lacks creativity. Being in advertising, this direct reference shows no thought, strategy or truly relevant concept. I am more than positive that there are better ways to discuss the benefits and product attributes rather than this direct and obvious reference. This is easily a bogus advertisement because of its lack of thought and creativity.
