A cow with a plastic tank strapped to its back to collect methane at Argentina’s National Institute of Agricultural Technology.

You know, I came into this ready to cry “Animal Cruelty” and feeling bad for the cow, but the device doesn’t look very heavy or burdensome, and honestly I wouldn’t mind temporarily having some lightweight tank strapped to my back knowing that everytime I belched or farted I produced an alternative fuel source that could greatly benefit the planet. Especially if the tank was hot pink.

But never mind that tank, that cow’s rockin’ a nice lil’ mohawk there.

*sings* Sure is mellow grazin’ in the grass (grazin’ in the grass is a gas, baby, can you dig it?) What a trip, just watching as the world goes past (grazin’ in the grass is a gas, baby, can you dig it?)

I can dig it, he can dig it, she can dig it, we can dig it, they can dig it, you can dig it, oh let’s dig it, can you dig it, baby?…

    I can dig it.

The photo looks puzzling YET slightly funny in a weird uh? like way, as to why did they actually decided to take a picture of a COW with the idea of having him/her strapped with a PINK (fav color…*giggles*) tank onto it’s back, AND also in this particular thought in mind….hmmmmm.
@NT: I’m small giggling off of you singing that song :)

Reprise of my comment: I just read what the reason was…but why a cow…my curiosity I guess.
