i definitely agree with sakiya&#039;s comment abt there being offenses to which one could (and likely should) expect an ass whooping-- male and female both. do i think it&#039;s right for a man to hit a woman? absolutely not, but in alignment with that belief is the belief that women should not hit men. it&#039;s only fair. how one-sided and unrealistic for a woman to think that she can actually intentionally, with force, hit a man and there will be no recourse? i do feel that in that situation a man could, and for the sake of both parties probably should, just walk away, but that is being idealistic. there is a such thing as someone being pushed to behave a certain way, and once they are there, one shouldn&#039;t put the blame on one party.

on the other side of the same coin, i agree with leandra abt ppl behaving a certain way bc they&#039;ve never been checked, so it is complicated. and yes, we are doing our children a disservice by not teaching them the realities of life. &quot;no a man shouldn&#039;t hit you, but don&#039;t you hit a man and not expect to be hit.&quot; that&#039;s a more appropriate thing to say to your daughter.</description>
