		<description>Wow... Im not perfect. Im no angel.... but why in the world wouldnt anybody pick up their celly and make a free 911 call. i understand not giving the dude CPR. I understand not touching him, or getting involved. But WTF! 911 is free.

		<description>Honestly, if I saw that man laying there, I&#039;d probably just glance and keep walking for the simple fact that nobody else was paying attention to him so it wouldn&#039;t appear that serious to me.

Now if I saw him get hit or pushed, then that&#039;s a different story.

I guess that&#039;s just the result of living in the city.</description>

		<description>In cities, people are scared and so much nonsense goes on regularly that we do overlook things, sometimes as a way of protecting ourselves, but sometimes as a way of maintaining our self-involvement.

I can&#039;t say that if I saw a man sprawled out on the ground I&#039;d call or help; I believe I might have the same sense of &quot;what do you want me to do?&quot; that these people had.  HOWEVER, the people who should really be examined are the ones who were standing around LOOKING at the man, aware of what happened and what was happening.  The passersby are really less at fault.  

This is merely an example of what happens when you&#039;re in your own world.  There are so many other examples of when we could reach out and help, but we choose not to intervene and give all that&#039;s required: a little.</description>
