Sakiya,

Thank You very much for your beautiful words of wisdom. I actually own an autographed copy of your book "Thank You and You're Welcome" and the excerpt you have made a point of, answers my question right on the head. Let me express a great deal of gratitude for you taking the time to answer my question. Thank You!

Ouley,

You are only misusing your time if you are doing nothing with it, then by default you waste yourself. There are no accidents when you are aware. Only you can determine what's valuable or worthy of your time, no one else. Always ask yourself this, "Where is this next decision likely to lead?" -you will save time by doing this.

And if you don't set a high bar for your time-self, no one will follow you towards greatness if you can't navigate. What would make each breath you expend worth your effort toward something?

So let each day be the new start to the rest of your life.

it's all relative!

wow!
I often ponder upon this idea on a daily basis. It's like for ever incident that occurs in my life and other peoples lives, I try to comprehend various ways I could approach the event and the possible reactions to each way I approach the incident. (I think this is a run on sentance, so sorry for my horrible grammar.) Then afterward I would think about whether or not I've misused my time thinking about all that, when I could've been doing something sustantial with my time. But then like you said about putting what you've apprehended into action, I do that most of the time. So am I wasting my presious time?
But who's to determine whether what you do is a significent or an absurd way to expend time?
So can you help me out with this?

Word... life is all about balance. Living in your thoughts and living in the moment is not exempt from that. I used to stay in my thoughts constantly and I missed out on a lot as a result. Life is so beautiful and inspiring and exciting, your thoughts are limited without it.

Wow, very well said. I've sat around thinking with no action, and now that I've looked back on it, I can say that I wasted A LOT of time. I could have gotten what I wanted out of life a long time ago if I wasn't dwelling on things I either had the power to change or had to learn to deal with. Action sure does speaks louder than words.
