I think we all have a personal responsibility to voice our concerns and opinions to each other, if we want to influence the world we live in. I mean we are human biengs, and one of the things that should seperate us from the rest of the animal kingdom is our ability to reason with each other.

As far as these activist being presumptuous, that may be the case, but ultimately WE the observers have to determine whether the message is valid or not, to discard of things we deem frivolous.

I personally don’t appreciate people who abuse children . . . yes, I look down on people who are “in” to that. I don’t think anyone else should be “in” to that also.

My question is what would activism look like if activists understood and lived by the principle that the only people who should have to live up to their standards is themselves, individually?

To go even further, how would law change? How would societies that laws shape change? Doesn’t enacting that principle have far-reaching implications? Where do you draw the boundaries, especially with regard to ethics? Should child molestation only be legal for those who believe that it’s right as long as they have consent, regardless of age? Should slavery be legal for those who aren’t morally opposed to it?

Don’t get me wrong…. I’m against cruelty to ALL of God’s creatures – but DAMN man!!. If your just gonna protest for “Fur”…. and no OTHER animals?…. that just doesn’t make any sense to me?.

And FYI… I’ve never worn Fur in my Life, and don’t plan too either. I’m just saying….
